Workshop Objectives

Research has consistently demonstrated that when clear goals are associated with learning, it occurs more easily and rapidly. With that in mind, let’s review our goals for today. 
At the end of this workshop, you should be able to:
  • Understand the file and organization changes when upgrading from OneNote 2003
  • Stay organized by using the Navigation bar and drag and drop capabilities
  • Sort and view pages
  • Create hyperlinks to web locations, other files, or other OneNote pages
  • Use tables
  • Understand the use of the drawing and pen tools
  • Create a custom pen to use when drawing or handwriting
  • Understand the calculator capabilities
  • Use the task pane for formatting text and lists
  • Select a page template for a new page
  • Select a default page template
  • Create a new template
  • Attach files to notes pages
  • Insert Files as Printouts
  • Print to OneNote from Other Applications
  • Send to Word
  • Use the Side Note Window
